The Walnut Room makes a habit of forging new ground. Both in Denver and on-line, The Walnut Room has established itself as premier live music venue and a great pizzeria. The venue opened its doors in 2005 and has earned its reputation as choice room for performers and their audiences alike.

Gigbot Pro has helped owner John Burr and talent buyer John Kinsner build The Walnut Room’s brand on the Web, and offer effective ways to promote their active show calendar. In addition to handling the core event promotion and ticketing tasks, Gigbot Pro’s platform has also accommodated the needs of the restaurant by providing menu and food photos, and food and drink specials, all delivered via Gigbot Pro’s single toolset, and branded to match The Walnut Room’s cohesive design.
Owner John Burr first established his foothold in the transitioning industrial neighborhood just north of Downtown Denver in the 1990’s when he opened Soundstructure Studios, providing studio rehearsal space for musicians. The popularity of Soundstructure cemented John’s reputation and connection to Denver music (John is, after all, a seasoned musician himself).
After a major studio expansion, the next step in growth was the opening of The Walnut Room in 2005. With the dedicated help and expertise of talent buyer John Kinsner, the venue consistently hosts quality artists locally and nationally.
The diversity of musicians Kinsner attracts to The Walnut Room’s intimate stage keeps their calendar full and marketing efforts constant. Kinsner and The Walnut Room staff has relied on the stability of Gigbot Pro’s artist entry and show creation to quickly and simply share their events on their website calendar, custom email campaigns, and on in-venue video kiosks. Kinsner also takes advantage of the integrated blogging system (he calls it ‘Sound Bites’) to aid in communicating and promoting events.
In 2010, The Walnut Room continues pioneering with the opening of a new location in Denver, and Gigbot Pro’s customization and multiple venue feature was able to accommodate this expansion on their website and show calendar. As The Walnut Room grows, Gibot Pro’s tools continue to keep their fans connected and informed of the music, and well fed too*.
*The Gigbot mechanics have been know do serious damage on a large Bourbon BBQ Pizza Pie in 5 minutes flat.
