The Gothic Theatre has grown with Gigbot Pro. This historic 1,000 person venue underwent a major renovation and reinvention under it’s new owner, Steve Shalk. Gigbot Pro has helped the Gothic and it’s staff continue to innovate by fostering the theatre’s new brand while enabling them to effectively and efficiently promote their events to a new generation of audiences.

Gigbot Pro’s adaptable design captured the the theatre’s unique architecture and signage; anchored by the Gothic’s custom designed website, Steve and his team are able to update shows and news and deliver them via email blasts, RSS and iCal feeds and in-venue digital Kiosks that all feed up-to-the minute show listings from a single show entry in Gigbot Pro. Integrated ticketing and marketing statistics provide constant feedback on what shows are selling – and how.
The Gothic Theatre is a landmark in the community of Englewood Colorado, a neighborhood just south of Denver on Broadway, the main axis of the city. The theatre’s grand art deco style has graced Denver residents who came to view the venue for the better part of the 20th century. Time and neglect were taking it’s toll on the venue when, in 1998 a dedicated group led by new owner Steve Shalk assumed leadership and transformed the Gothic into an architectural and musical precedent for the entire Colorado Front Range. (Steve was a prop master for the film industry in Southern California before coming to Denver. He used to build sets for movies. A handy guy he is. His craftsmanship is evident in throughout the venue.)
With progressive management steering the Gothic, it was clear that the next step in the rebirth of the venue was establishing and growing it’s brand and promotional power. The Gothic was transformed for the 21st century as an independent establishment for watching great music. Now it needed to let people know it.
Gigbot Pro provided it’s full range of promotional and ticketing tools to bring the Gothic’s shows online to a new generation of concert goers. The platform quickly proved it’s worth, and soon, Gigbot Pro was also used to drive Steve’s next music venue, Moe’s Barbeque. Gigbot Pro’s nimble platform was able to easily adapt to accommodate this restaurant-live music venue hybrid. We even threw a bowling alley to the equation!
