Spotlight: The Hi-Dive

The Hi-Dive is earning it’s reputation as a seminal indie rock club in Denver. Located in the heart of Denver’s Baker District on South Broadway, the Hi-Dive plays host to local, national, and globally touring indie-rock bands and has established itself as a popular venue for witnessing the thriving music scene in Denver.

Gigbot Pro collaborated with local artists and the Hi-Dive to capture the local aesthetics of Denver’s music community. The design was integrated into Gigbot Pro’s promotion and ticketing platform and has helped the Hi-Dive establish itself as a true independently operated, and locally owned music venue that has become an icon of the communities’ spirit and passion for music.

The Hi-Dive uses Gigbot Pro to keep all of it’s promotion and ticketing under it’s own roof. The venue takes advantage of the simple will call option for ticket confirmation for it’s shows, and sends weekly emails to it members that include show listings for the room’s active calendar. The Hi-Dive is an gathering point for Denver’s enthusiastic music community and books taste-making shows for it’s fans. Gigbot Pro gives to tools to communicate them.

The Hi-Dive is owned and operated by Allison Housley and Matt LeBarge, who opened the room in November, 2003 to bring their experiences from New York City to Denver. The venue quickly became noticed for the quality and relevance of it’s booking efforts – reputation that is continually growing under the direction of Ben Desoto, with great bands many times a week that represent the best of examples of the ever expanding indie rock genre. People go to the Hi-Dive (present company included) to hear and experience what the music world will be talking about next week.

Adjacent to the Hi-Dive is another of their acclaimed establishments, The Sputnik. With Gigbot Pro’s platform supporting the Hi-Dive’s promotion, design was customized to look and behave as needed for this bar and restaurant that caters to before and after-show revelry.

The Gigbot team puts it’s money where it’s mouth is; we are often at the Hi-Dive catching a show, or next door at the Sputnik eating sweet potato fries. We work hard to collaborate with our clients and understand their day-to-day operations. We are always exploring ways to provide better and smarter ways to help music venues do better business.
